JAMMU, Feb 19: All Kashmiri Pandit Welfare Society (AKPWS), Haridwar held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president HL Chatta.
While speaking, Chatta assured the executive members that the society will work for the welfare and betterment of the community.
The society will make all arrangements of boarding and lodging to the community people visiting Haridwar for performing religious rituals, he added.
During the meeting, unanimous decision was taken by the members for collection of funds for the renovation and repairs of Kashmiri Dharamshalla at Haridwar.
Among others present were Arjan Nath, vice president, CL Bhat, general secretary, TK Bhat, secretary, Chaman Lal Bhat, chief organizer, Veena Gurtoo, publicity secretary and members of the society.
