AJKLTF discusses demands

JAMMU, Apr 6: A meeting of Lecturer’s cell of All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) was held under the chairmanship of Maheshwar Parsad Sharma, today.
Addressing the meeting, Sharma strongly condemned the attitude of school Education Department authorities run by Commissioner/Secretary and Education Minister in which they have been given to the KAS cadre. He termed it as ridiculous and meaningless attitude for the teaching community. The cadre describe present situation as most dark and callous day in the history of School Education Department.
The demand of running pattern has also been highlighted in the meeting. The honesty and sincerity have also been challenged in the present scenario of Education Department. The cadre also strongly criticised the malicious attitude of Government for highly qualified youth in which the full incentives of DA have been paid to the newly advertised posts of +2 Lecturers.
The cadre strongly urged the Government to withdraw the black order in which the post of Joint Directors have been snatched from the teaching community, otherwise a strong wide protest may be launched in future.
