JAMMU, June 25: A meeting of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teacher’s Federation (AJKLTF) was held under the chairmanship of of B S Verma, wherein they discussed their demands, today.
The federation felt deep concern over the discrimination in allotment of funds by the State Project Director RMSA, Ramesh Kumar and smells nepotism and favoritism adopted in distributing the funds. Funds allotted in Kashmir division is 20.40 crores whereas, funds allotted to Jammu division are 8.02 crores. Particularly for Jammu district, funds were projected by CEO Jammu was 9 crores to release the salary of teachers/Masters/lecturers working under RMSA upto March 2015, but the funds provided is Rs one crore which nothing more than small cumin seed in a camel mouth, they alleged.
Federation discussed that Government should increase working days upto 220 by minimizing the holidays. They felt deep concern for not releasing long pending selection grade list in favour of under Graduate teachers whereas list is complete in all respect and lying with the Director School Education, Jammu.
Other present in the meeting were Dr Vijay Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Raj Kumar, Rattam Lal, Manjeet Singh, Krishan Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Shiv Dev Singh, Lekh Raj, Mohan Singh, Meheshwar Prasad and Pardeep Kumar.
