Ajay Bharti, others discuss migrants issues with Veeri

JAMMU, Apr 26: A delegation of BJP Kashmir Displaced District led by MLC G L Raina (Ajay Bharti) today called on Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Minister, Abdul Rehman Veeri and submitted a memorandum to him regarding various demands of the Kashmiri Pandit migrants.
A detailed deliberation was held with the Minister by delegation over the burning issues of displaced people from Valley and Minister was asked that the same be addressed immediately.
The water crisis in Jagti township,  lack of medical facilities in camps, erratic supply of ration to migrants, functioning of relief organization, maintenance and upkeep of TRTs, allotment of shops to genuine migrants, problems of package employees, benefit of Central State welfare schemes and non disbursement of balance ex-gratia relief.
Veeri assured that the problems will be addressed soon.
The other members of the delegation included Chand Ji Bhat, president Displaced District BJP, grievance Cell incharge Sharda Nandan, advocate Ram Krishnan Koul, Ravinder Kumar Raina, vice presidents, and Piyaray Lal district general secretary.
