Ajatshatru takes stock of activities of Rajput Charitable Trust

JAMMU, Oct 26: Former Cabinet Minister and Member Legislative Council, Ajatshatru Singh, took stock of the various social activities being carried out by the Rajput Charitable Trust in a meeting of the Trust held here today.
During the meeting, Singh, who is also president of the Trust, was presented with a detailed report of various activities being carried out by the Trust.
Singh asked the members to identify more deserving candidates of the community who require any sort of help of the Trust. He expressed that he specifically wanted the Trust to help poor students, widows, physically challenged, and other destitute to lead a respectable life.
He also called upon the members of the community to come out with some innovative programs for the Trust so that its role can be made more meaningful for the community members.
The members of the Trust requested Ajatshatru to visit various districts of the State to get a first hand information about the hardships being faced by the community members so that a proper strategy is designed to mitigate the problems being faced by the community in the State.
The board meeting of the Trust was attended by a number of members prominent being PS Pathania, Prof Ajay Kotwal and Ajay Gandotra.
Col Madhav Singh Jamwal, secretary of the Trust, gave a detailed presentation about the present status of affairs of the Trust.
