JAMMU, Jan 19: The All India Students Federation (AISF) J&K held its State Council meeting, which was attended by national general secretary (AISF) Com Vicky Maheshari.
The meeting was presided over by Sanjay Kotwal (State president) while Com Ranbir Bandral (State general secretary) conducted proceedings of the meeting.
On the occasion, Com Bandral tabled the organization’s work report, which was unanimously passed by the house. Com Sanjay Kotwal briefed State Council and national general secretary about the burning issues of students of J&K State.
Com Vicky Maheshari drew attention towards the national scenario of education system, which he alleged, was badly destroyed by Modi Govt. He appealed the student fraternity of J&K to focus and prepare all students cadre to concentrate for Parliament March on Feb 18, 2019 against the Modi’s Govt policies on education. viz – a – viz curtailing Central funds on education. He stressed that education should be free, equal and scientific from KG to PG.
Members of the State Council and State Secretariat took part in the meeting and expressed their views.
