AISF calls on VC JU, submits charter of demands

JAMMU, June 28: A deputation of All India Students Federation (AISF) led by Mukesh Parihar met with the Vice Chancellor University of Jammu Prof (Dr.) Mohan Pal Singh Ishar at his office in the Campus and discuses various genuine issues pertaining to the student community of the State. He was associated with Dr. Akash Manhas, Dr. Sandeep Chib and Koshal Sharma.
In an hour long meeting, Chancellor gave a patient hearing to the members of the AISF. Mukesh Parihar stressed the University to increase the number of seats in every PG Department of the University. He also remind the Vice Chancellor regarding the inauguration of Satellite University Campus Doda made by former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in 2008.
During the meeting, AISF delegates also submitted a charter of demands to the Vice Chancellor which included increase in number of seats in PG, providing of staff in all the Campuses and Colleges of the University, Introducing new subjects in all the Campuses, providing of facilities to all the needy students, providing of Sports Infrastructure to all the Campuses and appointment of  Physiotherapists in these Campuses.
