JAMMU, Aug 4: Additional Inspector General (AIG), Registration, Jammu, Mansoor Aslam Choudhary today visited various Sub Registrar Offices of Jammu Division viz. RS Pura, Jammu South II, Jammu North, Jammu North I, Jammu South and Jammu Khas and reviewed day-to-day work, besides sensitizing the officials of the Department on recent order of the Government regarding registration.
During his tour, the AIG was accompanied by Natasha Kalsotra (Registrar Jammu) and Neha Sharma (Tehsildar Headquarter). On his visit to the field offices, Choudhary passed directions to the Sub Registrars to conduct the process of registration mandatorily on the appointed date and time to avoid any inconvenience and hardship to the citizens and also to bring efficiency and transparency in the online registration process.
The Officer directed all the sub registrars to ensure implementation of the Government circular issued vide number 10-JK (Rev) of 2022 dated 29-07-2022 in letter and spirit to avoid any inconvenience to the general public. He also interacted with the advocates and general public and recorded their observations as well as suggestions for incorporating in furthering the transparency of the department as per wishes of Arshad Ayoub (Inspector General, Registration J&K).
