JAMMU, Mar 21: All India Bank Officers (AIBOA) has deferred their proposed strike after a meeting with the Managements in presence of O P Singh, Regional Labour Commissioner (Central), appointed as Conciliation Officer for mediation.
A press release issued by the Chief Labour Commissioner – Central, Union Ministry of Labour and Employment, said that representatives of the AIBOA and the managements of the banks after holding detailed discussions with regard to the demands of the Banking officials/officers , the proposed strike has been deferred. The representatives from IBA and DFS also participated and made their submissions on every demand. The next date of the discussion will be decided shortly, the release said.
