JAMMU, June 3: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has strongly demanded implementation of Mandal Commission Report in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
In two successive meetings, one held at Lower Maitra in Ramban under the chairmanship of its district president Showkat Mughal and the other at Arnia town of Bishnah Assembly constituency under the leadership of its constituency president Chaman Lal Gandhi, the members strongly projected their issues. They raised the issue of non-implementation of Mandal Report in the Union Territory.
In Ramban meet state president Abdul Majid Malik, Kali Dass, MR Bangotra were the main speakers where as at Arnia, Kali Dass, Kewal Krishan Fotra and Prem Bogal were the special invitees.
The point-wise reply was given and it was concluded that both `Gupkar Group’ as well as `Gapkar’ Group (BJP) are deadly against the OBCs in the country in general and OBCs/ OSCs of JK- UT in particular. The reason is quite clear bill passed for the abrogation of art 370 which is conditional in which all constitutional rights have been deliberately suspended.
Keeping in view the anti-OBC stance of the political parties, speakers lambasted the so called OSC leaders in different political parties in general and bjp morcha in particular for supporting the looters of the constitutional rights of OBCs. BJP statement over the completion of eight years ruling and proved disastrous. The uncontrolled price rise of petrol-diesel and other eatables has made life of the people miserable. It was decided not to support the anti- OBC political parties..
Those present in the meetings included Ashiq Hussain Hajam, Qmar Din Kumhar, Shabana Akhtar and Javed Ahmed Hajam, Onkar Nath, Puran Chand, Prem Bogal and Kewal Krishan Fotra.
