AIBCU demands Mandal Report implementation

JAMMU, Mar 21: AIBCU today urged upon the BJP Government to implement Mandal Commission Report in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
In an introductory meet of its portfolio holders and workers of all the State units including large number of OBC communities was held at Jammu in which dignitaries from both provinces participated and put their view points over Central Govt policy in JK UT for OBCs after the abrogation of Art 370.
Participants reminded the Govt that before the abrogation of Art 370, the apex court’s judgement of 1992 on Mandal Report was not implemented under the shade of Art 370 which otherwise provided more rights to the State subjects of the State but the Mandal Report which got its implementation through out the country, was not implemeted in J&K by the respective rulers.
The introductory meet was addressed by PC Patanjli, the national chairperson of the union, as chief guest and Dr Sanjay Bhasin as guest of honour. Dr Jabeer Ahmed and Sham Basson Jammu Municipal Corporator were the special invitees who also addressed the meet.
The AIBCU members appealed the Govt for allowing full constitutional rights for OBCs. They said the OBCs will reject all anti-OBC political parties including BJP. Thwey alleged that Modi Govt is going to change the country’s constitution which provides us all living rights.
Col Som Dutt Fotra State secretary appealed all OBC communities to join AIBCU, the only organization working for them. State coordinator Rakesh Kumar Bunty and all district coordinators too emphasised on the OBC unity.
Prof Kali Dass and Kewal Krishan Fotra general secretary and successor general secretary respectively explained the resolutions so adopted in the meet and memorundam so submitted to PM through Divisional Commissioner Jammu.
