JAMMU, Nov 25: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has written a letter to the J&K Lieutenant Governor demanding implementation of Mandal report in J&K as abrogation of Article 370 has been done here.
The Union also demanded 27 per cent reservation for OBCs and claimed that even after the abrogation of Article 370 from J&K OBCs are called OSCs here.
AIBCU members decided to write the letter to the LG in a meeting chaired by Abdul Majid Malik and attended by Basharat H Najar, Abdul Hamid, Rafiq Ahmed Ahanger, Dr Javed Ahmed Teeli, S.C Verma, Gurmeet Singh, Som Lal, Darbari Lal Prajapati, Rakesh Kumar, Sham Lal Verma, Mohd Rashid Founi, Kewal Krishan Fotra, Vipan Kumari, Sonia Verma, Sudershana Kumari and M.R Bangotra.
