JAMMU, Feb 16: Ahmadiya Muslim Youth Association Jammu organised all religions peace conference here today.
A large number of people representing different religions, faiths and sects participated in this unique religious congregation. The programme was presided over by  Moulana Rafiq Ahmed Beig, president All India Ahmadiya Muslim Youth Association. Senior BJP leader and noted educationist Dr Nirmal Singh and Sheraz Ahmed, Deputy Chief Secretary of the Ahmadiya Muslim Community India shared the presidium.
The programme commenced with recital of Holy Quran. In his welcome  address M Attaul Mujeeb Lone presented Jamaat Ahmadiya’s services to the humanity. He said every human being should belong to each other and share the pain of  each other. He highlighted the teachings of Prophet that amongst the best of you is who has the best character and thus called upon the Muslims to follow the teachings of Prophet of Islam so that peace and harmony prevails in the world.  Every Muslim should take care of  the rights of  other human beings.
The scholars  of Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism and Christanity  namely Mohd Hamid Kauser, Prof Vishav Murti Shastri, Gyani Ajit Pal, Suresh Kumar , S K Jain, Fr Kuriakose T K highlighted the teachings with main focus on peace  and brotherhood. They also appreciated the initiative of Muslim youth for providing such a platform which will go on long way in binding society and the humanity.
Ahmadiya Muslim organization was founded on 1889 by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmed of Qadian (Pb). It has spread in many countries now and has contributed a lot in the field of education as well. Gohar Hafeez Fani, president Ahmadiya Muslim Youth Association Jammu conducted the programme while it was coordinated by Mubashir Ahmed Mundashi.
