JAMMU, Sept 16: First two-day State level Management Development Programme (MDP) for Nursing Professionals and Tutors of Nursing Colleges/ANMT Schools of Jammu region was organized by Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA) India in collaboration with Acharaya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences & Hospital (ASCOMS) Sidhra (Jammu).
Dr Pawan Malhotra (Director Principal, ASCOMS Sidhra) was the chief guest of the training programme along with Dr Yashpal Sharma, Director Coordination, new GMCs & Nursing Institutes (National president AHA India) who is heading AHA India with office at AHA House in Noida.
Medical Superintendent (MS) of Maternity Hospital Gandhinagar Dr Arun Sharma (regional secretary, AHA Jammu Chapter) handled the stage along with Sadiq Khan (Mass Education Information Officer and National Trainer). Other members of AHA namely Dr Ravinder Rattanpal (MS ASCOMS Hospital), Anshulmani Sharma (GM JKMSCL), Dr Sunita Puri, Dr Sanjeev Puri, Dr Vijay Raina (MS Government Hospital Sarwal) and Indra Moza (Principal, Nursing College, ASCOMS) were also present on the occasion.
A total of 135 nurses and tutors from various health institutions of Jammu division including Military Hospital, BSF, CRPF, Government Medical Colleges Jammu, Rajouri, Kathua and from all districts under Directorate of Health Services Jammu, are participating in the training programme.
Resource persons for the MDP are Neetu Bhatnagar (Principal, BEE ENN Nursing Institute, Chak Balwal, Jammu), Dr Ritu Magotra and Dr Sonia Khajuria (Associate Professors, GCW Parade, Jammu), Shylaja S (Nursing Superintendent, Naryana Hospital, Katra), Joziea Farooq Mir (Tutor/ Demonstrator, Government Nursing College, GMC Anantnag), Prof Dr Indra Moza, Lt Col Alka Thomas (Psychiatry Matron 166-MH Satwari Jammu), Prof Frank JC (Principal, BEE ENN Nursing College Chak Balwal, Jammu), Joyce B Singh (Assistant Professor, Stephens College of Nursing Jammu) and Suby Annu Thomas (Tutor, MMINSR, SKIMS Soura).
Moderators for sessions include Shikha Bhandari and Ajay Kumar (Assistant Professors, Nursing College, ASCOMS Sidhra), Poonam Paul (Assistant Professor, Government Nursing College Gandhi Nagar), Iqra Rafiq (Assistant Matron/Nursing Tutor, ASCOMS Hospital Sidra), Meetali Juliea (Matron, GMC Kathua), Nahid Anjum (Community Health Officer, Block Bishnah), Gurjeet Kour (Tutor, Government ANMT School Udhampur), Neetu Bhatnagar (Principal, BEE ENN Nursing Institute, Chak Balwal, Jammu), Suby Annu Thomas and Joziea Farooq.
