Agriculture employees apprise CS of their demand

JAMMU, Feb 2:  A delegation All J&K Agriculture Employees Association, Jammu Province, called on Chief Secretary B R Sharma, here today and apprised him of the alleged discrimination with Daily Rated Workers of Jammu.
The delegation, led by the Association president Uttam Sharma, informed the Chief Secretary  that Daily Rated Workers of Jammu in Agriculture Department were  still awaiting their regularization  despite approval of the posts ten years back. Despite detailed clarifications by the successive Directors  on condoning Service Break of these workers, the GAD has been making  un-necessary objections over their case whereas the Daily Rated Workers of  Kashmir, whose service   break had  also been condoned,  were already regularized,” the delegation explained and sought intervention of the Chief Secretary for regularization of the aggrieved workers.
The Chief Secretary gave a patient hearing to the Association members and assured necessary action in this regard.
The delegation comprised  of S Amrik Singh, Zafarulla Khan, Surinder Sharma, Sham Lal and others.
