JAMMU, Jan 3: The dead body of an agricultural labourer was found hanging at his residence in Gajansoo area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, Deep Chand (25) son of Balesar Rishi Dev, resident of Bihar was found hanging this morning in a tin-shed at Nai Basti (Gajansoo), where he was living for last some time.
He said the body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu and postmortem will be conducted on it after the relatives of the deceased from Bihar reach here. The official said in this connection inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC has been initiated at concerned police station.
