Agri technocrats demand batch-wise regularization

DODA, Sept 29: Demanding regularization on batch wise manner, hundred of agriculture technocrats under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) held a protest at district headquarters.
The protestors led by district president Dr Shakeel Qazi raised slogans against the Government and Agriculture Minister Ghulam Hassan Mir for not implementing the Cabinet decision 2011 regarding their regularization policy.
The protestors demanded regularization of all Rehber-e-Ziraat (ReZ), who are working in the department.
Addressing the protestors, Dr Qazi criticized the Government for not taking any serious steps for the regularization of agricultural technocrats on batch-wise manner.
The regularization of yearly batch-wise is being demanded to ensure that the over-aged technocrats do not suffer non-selection and thereby remain idle for their life, he added.
ReZ should be regularized giving preference to the date of passing out of their BSc Agriculture Degrees, Dr Shakeel demanded.
He urged the Chief Minister and the concerned Minister to personally intervene in this matter so as to secure the future of ReZ and their families.
Among others present were Rasid latief Rangrez, Nadeem Bashir Pampori, Jaffer Wani, Tanvir Khan, Hayat Ali, Iftikhar Batt, Khalid Sheikh, etc.
