Precautions must to combat pandemic: Sanjita

JAMMU, June 30: J&K BJP Mahila Morcha in association with Directorate of Indian System of Medicine (ISM) organized an AYUSH medical camp at Royal Palace, Old City here, today.
The camp was inaugurated by Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP vice president in presence of Priya Sethi, former Minister and Sanjita Dogra, president J&K BJP Mahila Morcha.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi highlighted the benefits of Ayurveda in building immunity and urged people to “have a look” at AYUSH Ministry’s initiatives to stay fit amidst COVID-19 pandemic, saying ‘good health is the harbinger of happiness’. He asked everyone to adopt herbal medicines and enhance their body immunity as a part of a proactive measure to fight Corona Virus.
Sethi urged the people to take benefits of Ayush medicines in day today’s life till anti-Corona Virus dose is prepared. He asserted that these herbal medicines are most beneficial supplementary for people.
Former Minister, Priya Sethi complemented Anita Gandotra for organizing medical camp and promoting AYUSH. She said that there is dire need to organize such camps in rural and far-flung areas so that the people can avail the benefits of these camps. She asserted that to fight the ongoing pandemic we all have to come together and must aware each other about the dos and don’ts in the pandemic.
Priya Sethi said it is important to create awareness on India’s traditional medicines and medical practices all over the world. She complimented the AYUSH practitioners for constantly striving to serve the people and highlighted the important role they have to play in India’s fight against COVID-19.
Sanjita Dogra appealed to the participants and general masses to maintain social distancing and wear masks whenever they visit to markets and other places which is compulsory for everyone to combat coronavirus pandemic.
The camp was organized by Anita Gandotra, vice president J&K BJP Mahila Morcha. Dr Nidhi Sharma, Dr Garima Sharma and Dr Nishant Khajuria rendered their services and examined more than 300 patients examined during the camp. The Ayurvedic medicine were provided free of cost to the patients in the camp. Besides, importance of Yoga, Aasans and Pranayam were also highlighted.
