SRINAGAR: Noted singer Adnan Sami will perform on October 7 at S K International Convention Centre (SKICC) on the bank of famed Dal Lake to boost tourism, badly hit by negative coverage by some of the national television channels.
An official spokesman said here that Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan convened a high level officers’ meeting here on Thursday to review the arrangements for the upcoming musical concert of Sami.
The meeting was informed that in order to boost tourism in the valley, the Government is organising a musical concert by award-winning singer Adnan Sami on the banks of Dal Lake on October 07, 2017 at SKICC.
Reviewing the security arrangements, the Divisional Commissioner asked for sensitisation of foolproof security in and around the venue. The Traffic department was directed to indentify space for parking of vehicles near the venues, three separate entries in to the venue and ensure proper route plan during the event. (AGENCIES)
