JAMMU, Apr 30: The Government of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir today ordered that all the Administrative Secretaries and the UT level Heads of the Departments, shall function from Civil Secretariat, Srinagar with effect from May 5, 2025 (Monday).

An order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) in this regard further said that the Administrative Secretaries and Heads of the Departments shall ensure their availability at Srinagar (Civil Sectt) from May 5, however, they shall attend the Civil Secretariat, Jammu as per functional requirement.
The arrangements with regard to availability of staff of Administrative Departments of Civil Secretariat shall be determined by the respective Departments. It further said that the Estates Department, upon requisition by the concerned Administrative department, shall provide accommodation to the officials, as per their requirement.
