MENDHAR, Oct 29: A team of local officers from Sub Divisional Administration Mendhar destroyed over 50 kg rotten fruits and vegetables and imposed Rs 2600 fine on some traders.
Official sources said that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Tehsildar Mendhar Dr Vikram Sharma, assisted by TSO Bharat Bhushan, Naib Tehsildar Ashfaq Ahmed and Medical officer Dr Javed conducted surprise checking in Mendhar market today and destroyed about 50 kg of fruits, vegetables and some sweets. The team also imposed Rs 2600 fine on the defaulters.
