The Revenue team after checking record reported that the land belonged to three persons belonging  to the other community and out of the total area 40 kanals, 28 kanal had washed away in floods while only 12 kanal had left. They had got entry into the Revenue record in 1961.
Later, members of SD Sabha, VHP, BJP, BD and Ram Lila Committee  met the DC, SSP Rajouri and DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range and after long discussion,  three alternative sites were suggested by the Administration. The Administration after reaching an agreement, then issued permission to celebrate Dussehra in the backyard of PHE complex in the same area. This function is being held for the first time in this locality.
Meanwhile, the people of the area held protest during the day against the Administration for not allowing permission to celebrate religious function. Market of the area also remained closed for several hours in the afternoon. However, it was opened in the evening after the issue was resolved.
