JAMMU, June 16: Suprakas Adhikari, General Manager (Electrical) has taken over the charge as the new Head of NHPC Sewa-II Power Station Mashka in Kathua.
Adhikari is a 1990 batch NHPC engineer with over 31 years of experience in hydropower sector spread across Maharashtra, Sikkim, West Bengal, Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir. He was working in Operations & Maintenance Division at NHPC Headquarters in Faridabad before being given the responsibility of Sewa-II Power Station at a very critical juncture when the HRT repair works are progressing at a steady pace.
After reviewing the progress of HRT, he addressed all HoDs and said, “The resolution of ongoing technical glitches and early restoration of Power Station is going to be our absolute focus at this moment. I am completely sure that the team at Sewa-II is going to beat all odds and restore our power station to its glorious past.”
