ADGP interacts with IRP jawans, listens problems

ANANTNAG, Sept 26: ADGP Armed, A.K Choudhary here today paid a visit to Armed Police Complex Mattan and interacted with officers and officials of IRP-10th, 11th and 17th Battalions.
The ADGP Armed was accompanied by many officers of the department including all the Company Commanders of all the three Battalions.
Officers and officials of all the Battalions put-forth their problems and the ADGP listened them.
Certain issues to be decided at APHQ level were disposed off by the ADGP on the spot, whereas for other issues projected by the officials, the ADGP assured that appropriate action shall either be taken at APHQ level or at PHQ level keeping in view the nature of matter.
After this the ADGP briefed the cops on different issues relating to security scenario of the State and functioning affairs of the units besides welfare of the Jawans.
He said that J&K Police has been one among the best police forces in India so we have to maintain the highest standard of the discipline and execution of assigned duties. He also informed that strict measures are on for conducting DPC quarterly.
