JAMMU, Mar 26: Assistant Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed J&K AK Choudhary inaugurated 11 KVA special power line, online recharge service counter and company store at IRP-7th Battalion Headquarters, Kot Bhalwal, Seri, here today. He was accompanied by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Armed Jammu Zone Danesh Rana.
On the occasion Rahul Malik, Commandant IRP-7th Battalion alongwith KS Jasrotia, SP Deputy Commandant, RS Rahi, DySP and other officers of the Battalion welcomed the senior officers and presented the guard of honour at quarter guard.
ADGP also inspected Battalion Headquarters, administration block, jawans barracks, jawans mess and stores. He gave on the spot directions regarding concerned issues.
Choudhary and Rana also held a meeting with officers and officials of the battalion in which jawans raised various issues which ADGP assured for redressal based on merits.
In the end, the vote of thanks was given by RS Rahi, DySP of this unit.
Later, an interactive session with GOs of the Battalion was held, wherein various issues related to manpower, deployment of cops, infrastructure of the battalion and welfare measures of the jawans were discussed.
