ADGP Armed decorates newly promoted SPs

SRINAGAR, July 9: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed, SM Sahai, today decorated the newly promoted Superintendents of Police at a function held at Armed Police Headquarters (APHQ), here.
Deputy Superintendents of Police recently elevated to the rank of Superintendents of Police by the Government who were decorated with ranks by the ADGP included Khurshid Ahmad Mir, Mohammad Saleem Khan, B Jandrahia, Mohammad Shaban Guru and Qudus Abid Khan.
While felicitating the promoters and extending his greetings to their families, Sahai urged the officers to work with zeal and zest to make the department proud.
He emphasized upon them that they must realize their duties and dedicate themselves in service of the Nation.
ADGP expressed hope that the promotion would bring new spirit of public service among the officers.
“Promotion means more accountabilities and responsibilities and we are sure that the officers will accomplish the assigned tasks efficiently in future also”, ADGP said.
“This promotion is not just a promotion, it’s the mark of what is still to be achieved in the future and as public servants we must introspect whether we equally do justice with our responsibilities in lieu of salaries and other perks that we receive from the department”, Sahai added.
