Udhampur, July 4: Major General Anupinder Bevli, Additional Director General, National Cadet Corps (J&K and Ladakh Directorate), visited the newly established Zorawar NCC Training Academy at 6 J&K Battalion NCC, Udhampur today. The visit coincided with the ongoing Annual Training Camp (ATC) being conducted at the academy for NCC cadets from across the region.
During the visit, the ADG inspected the training infrastructure, camp layout and various activities being conducted as part of the camp. He was given a detailed briefing on the structured training modules, which include drill, weapon training, physical conditioning, map reading, personality development and community outreach programs.
Major General Bevli interacted with the cadets and commended their high level of enthusiasm and discipline. He appreciated their “Josh” and motivated them to pursue excellence not only in training but also in becoming responsible and socially aware citizens of the nation.
The ADG also lauded the remarkable efforts of the newly raised 6 J&K Battalion NCC for establishing the Zorawar NCC Training Academy in a record time. He acknowledged the battalion’s dedication in creating state-of-the-art facilities to run large-scale training camps, which are now serving as a key enabler in the grooming of NCC cadets from the region.
