JAMMU, Oct 10: Agriculture Displaced Employees Welfare Association (ADEWA) solemnized a Maha Yagya here, today for the world peace and peace of the departed soldiers and other martyrs who laid their lives for the nation over the years.
The Hawan was performed at Surya Bhawan Martand which started yesterday and culminated with Puranahuti this afternoon. This was followed by serving of prashad to devotees.
The BJP MLC Girdhari Lal Raina was also present on the occasion. Vedic Mantaras were recited by Vedic Guru Jai Krishan Khar seeking blessing for ADEWA. Various rituals of Hawan were performed by Pamposh Kaul, Rajinder Tickoo, Surinder Lal, Avtar Krishan Bhat, Sanjay Wali and Dr Manoj Nazir.
