Address issues of people with sensitivity, promptness: UP CM

GORAKHPUR (UP), Feb 28: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday directed officials to address peoples’ problems with seriousness, sensitivity and promptness and ensure that no one is subjected to any suffering.
During the ‘Janata Darshan’ programme at Gorakhnath temple, Yogi said, “The Government’s welfare programmes should be made available to the poor.
“For those who need financial assistance from the Government for their treatment, the process of estimation should be completed quickly.”
The CM added that stern legal action should be taken against anyone who is illegally occupying property or bullying others.
“Make sure that each person’s issue is handled promptly, transparently, and to his satisfaction,” he said.
About 350 people attended the ‘Janata Darshan’ and shared their problems with the chief minister.
He also interacted with the children who accompanied complainants and encouraged them to study hard.
A large number of applications were received during the programme seeking financial assistance for treatment.
The chief minister assured visitors that the Government was ready to extend full help in their treatment.
“Nobody’s treatment will be hindered by finances”, he said, instructing officers to complete the process of estimation of the cost of treatment fast and submit the report to the Government so that funds could be provided for it immediately. (PTI)
