JAMMU, Mar 9: Additional Director General of National Cadet Corps (NCC), J&K Maj Gen S S Jakhar, called on Commissioner/ Secretary Sch-ool Education Department Shaleen Kabra and discussed various issues related to NCC activities.
During the meeting with Mr Kabra, the ADG referred to the plans of NCC with regard to its expansion in the J&K State by raising new NCC units at Kupwara, Udhampur and new NCC Air unit at Srinagar. The further, expansion of NCC with emphasis on border areas was also discussed with the Commissioner/ Secretary by the ADG.
