JAMMU, Nov 19: Additi-onal District Development Commissioner inspected the construction work on bunkers being established under Border Area Development Programme (BADP) in various areas of Arnia and Suchetgarh Block.
Pertinently, the Union Government has sanctioned construction of about 1320 community and individual bunkers in border belts of Arnia, Suchetgarh, R.S.Pura, Marh, Pragwal, Samwan and Khour blocks of Jammu district.
The executing agencies apprised the ADDC of some land related issues in construction of these bunkers.
The ADDC interacted with the beneficiaries and motivated them for construction of bunkers which are only meant for their own security and safety.
The officer asked the executing agencies to ensure that quality material is used in these construction works besides timely completion.
