Adbi Kunj holds literary meet

JAMMU, Apr 18: Adbi Kunj today organized a literary meet at its literary centre in the premises of Kidzee School, Talab Tillo, Jammu.
A large number of writers, poets and devotes from the different walks of life participated in the meet, which was presided over by a renowned poet Harjit Singh Uppal, whereas a noted Urdu poet Malik Singh Wafa Sangdil was the chief guest and a famous composer and singer Chaman Sagoch was the guest of honour.
The function was conducted by an upcoming poet from Kishtwar Masoom Kishtwari. In his welcome address, Sham Talib, president of the organization threw detailed light on the festival of baisakhi and on the birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar.
The presentations of the creative prose include “Bharti-Aaien-Ke- Janam-Datta” by Aarash Dalmotra “Aaie-Basakhi-Aaie” by Harjit Singh Uppal and Padam Shree Ram Nath Shastri Chand Yadain by Sham Talib.
In the composite poetic round up, the various poets of different languages recited their poems and songs. The poets who participated in the function include Aarash Dalmotra, Harjit Singh Uppal, Sangdil Wafa Chand (Malik Singh Wafa), Chaman Sagoch, Sarwar Chohan Habeeb, Masoom Kishtwari, Mohammad Baqar Saba, Santosh Shah Nadan, Deepak Bihari, Sanjeev Kumar, SK Gupta, Rajeev Kumar, Shamas Rajan, Maharaj Krishan and Sham Talib.
