LOS ANGELES, Sept 19: Former “One Tree Hill” star Paul Johansson has been hit with a restraining order after reportedly trying to kidnap their child.
The 52-year-old actor, best known for playing father Dan Scott on the US teen drama series, was ordered by a judge to stay 100 yards away from Mercedes Connor and their five-year-old son.
Connor alleged she and Johansson got into a heated argument in August after their son, who has a severe peanut allergy, started to cough after eating a cookie, reported TMZ.
She claimed in legal documents that Paul snatched the child and tried to leave the house with him, accusing Connor of not giving their son his medicine.
She also alleged he put his hands on her, took her phone and then left.
Paul reportedly only returned their child after a neighbour got involved in the heated dispute.
Connor added in the legal documents she was left shaken after the incident, and said it was one example of the abuse she has suffered at the hands of the actor.
The restraining order will be evaluated at a hearing later this month. (PTI)
