KISHTWAR, Oct 12: Police restored to cane charge on students, who were protesting against Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Kishtwar for disrespecting National Anthem at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, here today.
As per reports, to check absenteeism, ACR Kishtwar Syed Ahmed Khan visited Government Boys Higher Secondary School here in the morning. The morning assembly was in progress and the students along with teachers were standing to pay respect to the National Anthem, but ACR visited the Principal office, seized the attendance register and left the premises thereby disrespecting the National Anthem.
