JAMMU, July 27: Chinore police arrested a person, involved in a negligence death case registered against him around 14 years back.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Chinore police post led by SI Vikram Singh Manhas under the supervision of SHO Domana police station Inspector Rajinder Sharma, SDPO Domana Surinder Sharma and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was wanted in a negligence death case registered against him with Domana police station around 14 years back.
The accused has been identified as Mohinder Kumar alias Doffa, son of Jia Lal of Jagti Colony. He was evading his arrest for the past two years.
The person was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 51/2001 under Section 304-A with police station Domana.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
