Accounts employees highlight demands

JAMMU, Aug 1: J&K Accounts Employees Association (JKAEA), Jammu province today held a meeting under the presidentship of Kamal Singh Pathania to discuss and highlight various issues and demands of Accounts employees.
The meeting observed that the officials who were promoted in the higher scale on their own pay and grade, have not been regularized by the authorities since long. The meeting demanded to hold DPC for regularization and promotion of these officials.
Stating that the members of the Accounts Service cadre deprived of the real benefit of Senior Scale, the Accounts employees said that the eligible Junior Scale Officers of the Department should be given Selection Scale.
The speakers demanded the Government to implement the transfer policy in letter and spirit. They said that many employees have completed their two-year tenure of posting in Ladakh and they be transferred to their home town without any further delay.
They said that no fresh recruitment of candidates have been conducted against the posts of Accounts Assistant lying vacant for about more than five years. The speakers urged the Government to fill all the posts on priority.
Those participated in the meeting were Adarsh Sharma, Shiv Paul Singh, Sanjay Pandoh, Mehboob Chowdhary, Rakesh Sharma, Rakesh Kashyap, Brij Bushan Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma and Tajinder Paul Singh.
