JAMMU, June 19: A man, who had fallen from the second floor of his house in Chowgan Slathia (Mubarak Mandi) on June 17, succumbed to his injuries today.
“The deceased was identified as Balbir Singh (52) son of late Inder Singh,” a police official said. He said the deceased was reportedly in inebriated condition when he fell off from the roof top of his house.
The official said that Balbir was undergoing treatment in a private hospital where he succumbed this morning. “His body was shifted to GMC Jammu and after getting conducted postmortem, it was handed over to his family,’ he said, adding, Panjtirthi police had already taken cognizance of the matter.
