JAMMU, Mar 9: A victim of road accident succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
According to a police official, the man identified as Haji Abdul Samad Bhat son of Haji Wali Mohd Bhat, resident of Kuligam, Lolab district, Kupwara, was shifted here at GMCH on March 2 after he received serious injuries in a road mishap occurred at Mansar Road under the jurisdiction of police station Majalta.
“However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 6:10 AM. After postmortem, the body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites,” the official said, adding that the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
