JAMMU, Aug 24: An accident victim succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
“The victim identified as Kewal Krishan (45) son of Inder Chand, resident of Badhwani (Samba), was grievously injured on August 14, when a speeding car hit him while crossing the road at Kunjwani”,a police official said.
He said on the same day, the victim was rushed to GMCH Jammu for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries today at about 4 AM, the official added.
After postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while Gangyal police had taken cognizance of the matter.
