UDHAMPUR, Aug 24: Jammu Kashmir Private Schools Association has constituted its tehsil unit for Majalta and unanimously elected Neraj Kesar as the tehsil president.
Ashok Kumar was elected as general secretary and Shardha Devi as treasurer of Majalta Zone.
The body was constituted during a meeting of the private schools of Khoon, Raiper, Sunal, Roun, Baryal, Dhema, Kather, Ramkot, Nagrota Gujroo, Chani Mansar, Kail Pardhi, which was held at NVJSN High School Khoon, under the presidium of Ajay Gupta, general secretary JKPSA and others.
Members present in the meeting also discussed number of issues pertaining to the delay in sanctioning of recognition by the School Education Department to the schools which were granted affiliation on 17/04/18 by JKBOSE, hurdle in obtaining recognition up to class 8th by DSE due to FFC and forthcoming problems due to self contradictory SRO 292 of July 2018.
