JAMMU, June 24: ABVP Jammu University research scholar’s convener, Lokinder Singh today submitted the representation to Provost, Boys hostels and Dean Student Welfare of University of Jammu and apprised them of the problems faced by scholars of Nehru hall boys’ hostel in JU.
Lokinder Singh demanded from the university authority to change the existing norms and statues of hostels which does not permit the boarders to install the air conditioners. He demanded from the University authority to make special provision keeping in view the interest of boarders of Nehru hall boys hostel with utmost urgence, so that the scholars residing in Nehru hall boys hostel may not suffer any more. Apart from that the boarders of Jammu university are even willing to pay the rent of air conditioners to University authorities so that they can avail this facility.
