MENDHAR, June 24: A newly married housewife attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at the house of her in laws at Dharma in Mendhar.
The young housewife, identified as Tehseena Akhtar (18), wife of Mehboob Iqbal of Dharma, was rushed to Mendhar hospital where doctors referred her to District Hospital Rajouri in view of her critical condition.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for investigation.
