JAMMU, Apr 24: Akhnoor Police arrested a thief from Kashmir, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, a police team under the supervision of SHO Akhnoor Inspector Hilal Azhar arrested a thief from Kashmir, who was evading his arrest since long.
The arrested person was identified as Shabir Shah, son of Sakhi Mohammad, a resident of Patta Tali Morh District Reasi.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 58/2021 under Sections 457 and 380 with Police Station Akhnoor.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
It is pertinent to mention here that the accused was also involved in two cases registered under FIR Numbers 209/2018 under Sections 354 and 341 RPC and 138/2020 under Sections 379 and 34 IPC with Police Station Reasi and one case registered under FIR Number 10/2017 under Sections 307 and 188 RPC with Police Station Gharota.
