JAMMU, Feb 16: Bishnah Police arrested an absconding rapist.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Vinod Kundal under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura conducted raid and apprehended an absconding rapist.
The accused was identified as Manu Thappa, son of Som Nath, a resident of Saroor.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 12/2022 under Sections 376 and 420 IPC with Police Station Bishnah.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
