JAMMU, Apr 7: A girl, who was absconding in accident case, has been arrested by Bahu Fort police.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Trikuta Nagar police station conducted raid and arrested a girl, who was involved in accident case and was evading her arrest since one and half year.
The accused girl has been identified as Atika Sheikh, daughter of Ramees Sheikh, a resident of Kralpora, Kupwara, at present Trikuta Nagar Extension.
A case has been registered at Bahu fort police station in 2012. Non-bailable warrant has been issued by Court against her.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bahu Fort police station Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Chandan Kohli and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
