Governor congratulates VCs

JAMMU, Apr 7: Governor N.N. Vohra has conveyed his compliments and congratulations to Prof R.D. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, and Prof Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, on being informed that the National Institutional Ranking Framework of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, have accorded the University of Jammu 64th rank and the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University the 80th position, respectively, in the National Ranking of 100 Universities.
The Governor has hoped that both these Universities would improve their ranking in the coming time and, besides, other State and Private Universities in J&K would also duly find notable positions in the next round of the National Ranking.
