Absconder wanted in dowry demand case nabbed

JAMMU, July 12: Women Cell Gandhi Nagar nabbed an absconder, who was wanted in dowry demand case and was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Women Cell Gandhi Nagar conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Rajinder Singh, son of Sewa Singh, a resident of Nanak Nagar, Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 21/11 under Section 498-A and 109 RPC with Women Cell Gandhi Nagar. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by 2nd Additional Munsiff JMIC Jammu on July 18, 2014.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Women Cell Gandhi Nagar Kirti Sharma made the arrest under supervision of SDPO South Mohammad Rafiq Manhas, Incharge SP South Vinay Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
