UDHAMPUR, Nov 11: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last 10 years.
As per police sources, police team from Udhampur police station conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since 2004.
The accused has been identified as Ram Rattan, son of Mangat Ram of Dandyial, district Udhampur.
The absconder was wanted in a case registered with Udhampur police station under FIR number 97/2004 under Section 457 and 380 RPC.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Udhampur police station Inspector Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Gourav Mahajan and SSP Udhampur Suleman Choudhary.
