JAMMU, Nov 5: Akhnoor police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past seven years.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Akhnoor Police Station arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past seven years.
The absconder has been identified as Yudhveer Singh, son of Jalandhar Singh of Dub Ditta, tehsil and district Jammu, he added.
The absconder was involved in a case registered with Akhnoor Police Station under FIR number 80/2006 and under Section 447 and 379 RPC, he informed.
