RAMBAN, May 2: Police here today under the supervision of SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar arrested an absconders who was evading arrest since the year 2018.
Sajjad Ahmed, son of Gulzar Ahmed, resident of Batta Gund, Panzoo in Anantnag was wanted in a case of FIR number 174/2018, U/S 48 (a) Excise Act registered at Police Station Ramban.
He was evading arrest with a motive to avoid legal proceedings.
A General Warrant of Arrest U/S 299 Cr.P.C was issued by the Court against him.
After hectic efforts cops from Police Station Ramban arrested him and produced him before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Ramban.
